Happy New Year! This is what I’ve been doing instead of blogging the last few weeks…
Went home to LR for Christmas, and on Sunday (Sunday!!) after my dad sang in the church choir, we went to the Rock Town Distillery. Grandma, brother, and I went on a tour that culminated in a whiskey, gin, vodka, bourbon tasting. Nothing like a little post church imbibing with the fam.
I read a few books that someday I’ll post about. This one will appear in Romance Roundup on Monday! And I drank a LOT of tea…
When I got bored with reading (!!), I took pictures of kitties reading.
They are such smart little babies.
I went to Arkansas Burger, my favorite burger joint in LR, and took this picture. Conway is where I went to college. That’s why this picture is cool.
My mom conned my brother into going to an antique mall by using the age old trick: “they will probably have some cool marbles!”
I went to see a friend play a show at the Rev Room in LR. I thought it was going to be jazz, but to my delight, it was country!
I got these boots for Christmas!!
My brother and I ate at Whatta-Burger in Russelville on our way to Tulsa to visit family. Would you believe that I was once a vegetarian?
It snowed in Arkansas. A ton.
The power went out.
So we went to Pizza Cafe for pizza and beer to combat the cold.
I took pictures of all of my relatives’ pets. You’re welcome.
And I’ll end with a picture of my perfect little angel.
PS. Fashion Friday will have TWO outfits tomorrow instead of just one. Get excited.

Two outfits! Double the fun! whoohooo :)
That distillery looks like a good time! Alcohol straight from the tap is usually the best way to kill a holiday weekend with or without the family.
I’ve been meaning to make it to the Rock Town Distillery after an ill-fated attempt at having a online magazine (www.arkansanmagazine.com ha! that died fast because I needed people to write for me and couldn’t FIND people!). I asked them to advertise with us (ah, the royal we) and never heard back from them. Nevertheless, I want to try their booze something awful.
